NEWSLETTER OF ASSOCIATION SUISSE TURQUIE

FEBRUARY 2016

This month, on the 4th, we are organizing an exciting visit to Musée Baur’s L’Asie Revée exhibition. The exhibition combines the imperial quality objects from Fondation Baur’s own collections of mainly Chinese Ming, Qing and Japanese Meiji dynasties, and Cartier’s Asia inspired jewellery, clocks and other objects created early in the 20th Century. The craftsmanship of all the pieces and the reflections on how the exquisite Chinese and Japanese motifs of phoenixes, dragons, perroquets, owles, bamboos and more, and the materials of wood, jade, coral, kingfisher plumes inspire and shape Cartier creations makes this the must see exhibition of the year for both the ladies and gentlemen.

If you miss this visit, the exhibition continues until February 14.

We take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day.
